International principals’ meet in city on Nov 30

Nagpur: The biannual international principals educational conference (IPEC) will kick off its eighth edition on November 30 with Union minister Nitin Gadkari set to grace its valedictory function on December 2. Over the last 16 years, IPEC has seen star-studded guest line up from late President APJ Kalam to academic Sonam Wangchuk, Super 30s Anand Kumar, Magasaysay awardee Vikas Amte, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat & others. Mrunalini Dasture, convenor of IPEC, said, Every year we focus on a theme on which the best speakers are invited and those in audience can brainstorm on. This year the topic is New Song with Old Composition .. Thought Behind Present education system. The national education policy is an attempt to bring back certain concepts of our ancient educational system and that will be an important aspect of our discussions.Principals of renowned schools from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Hyderabad, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and other cities would be present. Deaven Dasture, patron of IPEC, said, It is essential to have proper intellectual, mental, physical and social uplift of students.
