Ranchi: Ajsu-P supremo Sudesh Mahto on Thursday said his partys three-day state-level convention starting at Morabadi ground from Friday would witness a discussion by experts to prepare a blueprint for a better Jharkhand. The rallies will highlight Mahatos struggles for a separate state of Jharkhand. The party will also hold meetings in all assembly constituencies and towns, with discussions on nine topics related to the development of Jharkhand. The partys state convention, scheduled for September 29, will discuss strategies for the 2024 elections. Additionally, the party is supporting the Kurmi communitys demand for a Scheduled Tribe tag.Ajsu-P celebrates 100th birth anniv of Binod Bihari MahatoAjsu-P party in Jharkhand observed the 100th birth anniversary of Binod Bihari Mahato at 100 locations across the state. Party members paid homage to Mahato and emphasized the importance of education and justice in the development of the state. Ajsu-P also expressed support for the Kurmi communitys demand for a Scheduled Tribe tag and called for a caste census. In other news, the National Film Archive of India and the National Museum of Indian Cinema are organizing a four-day film festival to celebrate Dev Anands 100th birth anniversary.CM will launch state-level training prog for Pashu SakhisThe state government of Karnataka will launch a state-level training programme for Pashu Sakhis, or Accredited Agents for Health and Extension of Livestock Production, who will take care of the health and extension of livestock production. The Pashu Sakhis will receive training to handle surgical interventions, identify diseases, provide medication and vaccinations, and suggest preventive measures. They will be provided with a monthly remuneration of Rs 2,800. The government will also launch a vaccination drive against foot and mouth disease and other drives to prevent diseases in livestock. Additionally, efforts are being made to fill vacant posts, including 400 veterinary doctors.
