The partys state convention, scheduled for September 29, will discuss strategies for the 2024 elections. The Pashu Sakhis will receive training to handle surgical interventions, identify diseases, provide medication and vaccinations, and suggest preventive measures. They will be provided with a monthly remuneration of Rs 2,800. The government will also launch a vaccination drive against foot and mouth disease and other drives to prevent diseases in livestock. Additionally, efforts are being made to fill vacant posts, including 400 veterinary doctors.
