Rape of shooter: CBI court recommends financial assistance

Ranchi: The special CBI court, which sentenced three persons in a case of fraudulent marriage, rape and attempt to convert a former national-level shooter, recommended that the victim should be paid compensation for the trauma she underwent.It may be stated here that the victim was married to her then husband on July 7, 2014 according to Hindu traditions. A day after the man tried to convert her to Islam and subjected her to various atrocities. She registered a case against the person and his mother with a police station on August 19, 2014. The CBI took over the case following the Jharkhand high court order in 2015. Delivering the order in the case on Thursday the special CBI judge Prabhat Kumar Sharma directed that the copy of the order be sent to the district legal service authority in Ranchi for the compensation.The order stated that all three convicts in the case — the former husband. his mother and a former registrar (vigilance) of Jharkhand high court — have been proven guilty under section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) read with 376 (2) (N) (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 298 (wounding religious feeling of others), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 496 (marriage ceremony fraudulently gone through).We also published the following articles recently3 convicted for atrocities, bid to convert national-level shooterThree individuals, including Mustaque Ahmad, have been convicted by a special CBI court in Ranchi for forcibly trying to convert a national-level shooter, Tara Shahdeo, to another religion and committing various atrocities against her. Sentencing is scheduled for October 5. The court also convicted Rakib-ul Hasan alias Ranjit Kohli for criminal conspiracy, physical relation on the promise of marriage, voluntarily causing hurt, wounding religious sentiments, criminal intimidation, and fraudulent marriage ceremony. Tara had registered a case against Rakib and his mother in 2014 after realizing Rakibs true religion and the attempt to convert her.Jharkhand: Man gets life term for fraud marriage, rape & attempt to convert then wifeAn ex-husband of a national-level shooter has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a special CBI court in Ranchi. He was found guilty of rape, fraudulent marriage, and attempting to convert his then-wifes religion. A former registrar of Jharkhand high court was also sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy. The shooter had come to know her husband through the registrar, who had arranged a forced nikah between them. The ex-husbands mother was sentenced to 10 years in jail. The court also imposed fines on the convicts. The shooter expressed gratitude to those who supported her fight for justice.Three held, minor detained in Ranchi gang-rape caseThree youths have been arrested and a minor has been detained in connection with the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in Ranchi. The incident occurred when the girl went to a deer park with a boy who then raped her and called his friends to join. The group then raped the girl in different locations before leaving her at a dam. The girl reported the incident to her parents, leading to the arrests. Police are continuing their investigation and searching for additional suspects. The girl has undergone a medical examination.
