After repeated controversial statements against BJP leaders by the party candidate Dhulu Mahto here in Dhanbad host of  party leaders have come forward for damage control exercise. Series of press conferences and meetings have  egan to all sections of leaders to ensure that lotus blossoms in Dhanbad. Nirsa MLA Aparna Sengupta organized a press conference  at the BJP election office in Dhanbad and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for laying emphasis on women empowerment. She said, Womens safety is the priority of BJP and added that , atrocities against women have increased under the JMM-Congress coalition government of Jharkhand. She asked  people to vote for the BJP for the safety of women and for strengthening women of the country who need Modi for yet another term. When asked that the party candidate is fighting on so called outsiders and locals (bahari- bhitari) issue and has termed party MLAs  and sitting MP as extortionists, Aparna  said the party candidate has been misquoted. Aparna  said that the aim of BJP is to bring women before men thus has passesWomens reservation bill has been passed for the first time. Poor women are also getting the benefits of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Mahila Samman Savings Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandan Yojana, Mahila Poshan Abhiyan, Safe Motherhood Scheme, Ayushman Yojana and such schemes. District President Shravan Rai, Priyanka Pal, Rupesh Sinha, Milton Partha Sarathi, Chandrashekhar Munna, many BJP leaders and workers were present on the occasion.   In yet another press conference senior BJP leader from. Sindri Vijay  Pandey too expressed similar feelings when asked  about a recent statement  of a party candidate that has been viral on social media  platforms. Pandey said that for workers partys just like mother and they wont let mother defame. Both predicted a huge win for the party candidate in Dhanbad.
