14-yr-old boy injured after part of ceiling collapses in Mumbra

Thane: A 14-year-old boy sustained minor injuries after a part of his flats ceiling fell on him in Mumbra on Friday.The official from the regional disaster management cell (RDMC) of the Thane municipal corporation (TMC) said that the incident occurred at around 8.15 am in the 20-year-old Ayesh building is located in Amrut Nagar area of Mumbra.The official said that the ground-plus-five storey building was occupied by the injured boy and his family.The minor teenager sustained injuries on his head and legs.Soon after the RDMC was alerted about the incident, it reached the spot along with the rescue team and cleared the slab.
