Under the scheme, customers who pay 110 percent of the outstanding amount will have the interest waived off. This will benefit approximately 50,000 consumers and is expected to waive off interest amounting to Rs 1,000 crore. The scheme will initially be in effect for one year. The biker, identified as M Muralikrishnan, had previously been involved in an accident while performing a bike stunt. He regularly uploaded videos of his stunts on Instagram, with over 1,100 videos posted. After his accident, he even posted videos of his treatment and recovery on the platform. The police have registered a case against him under Section 308 of the Indian Penal Code and are working to temporarily cancel his driving license.
