THANE: A 28-year-old man has been arrested and two juveniles have been detained for bludgeoning to death one person over old enmity at the Devripada area. The police said that the deceased has been identified as Avesh Shaikh, while the arrested accused has been identified as Aftab Abdul Shaikh along with two other juveniles. On Sunday, the Shaikhs body was found in the bushes of Devripada hillock with injuries on his head.Subsequently the body was taken for autopsy which bore injuries on the neck and head, the police officer said.Simultaneously, a probe was initiated and the police worked on various leads including the intelligence and technical inputs and zeroed on the accused persons.
