Thane: A man allegedly attacked his 55-year-old mother with a sickle and killed her following an argument over not serving him tasty food, Thane rural police said. After the incident, which took place on Sunday evening at Velu village in Murbad taluka, the accused allegedly overdosed on sleeping pills. He was hospitalised and has not yet been arrested, police said.The woman and herson used often quarrel over domestic issues. On Sunday, they had an argument and he complained that she did not cook and serve him tasty food. He then allegedly attacked her with a sickle on her neck and she died.
