KALYAN: In the ongoing saga of disputes between BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad and Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde in Kalyan, fresh controversies have emerged. Following the BJPs triumph in three states, Ganpat Gaikwad reiterated the partys intention to contest the upcoming elections for the Kalyan Lok Sabha seat. This move was seen as an indirect criticism of Shrikant Shinde, the current Kalyan Lok Sabha MP and the son of the Chief Minister.Responding to Gaikwads statement, Shrikant Shinde dismissed it by stating that such remarks were aimed at seeking publicity.He emphasized that the senior leaders of the alliance would determine the candidates and their respective constituencies for the elections. Shinde brushed off Gaikwads comments as mere entertainment and remarked that similar statements had been made in the past, resulting in individuals retracting their statements. He expressed his lack of concern for such statements, stating, "I dont pay much attention to such people."Its worth recalling that Ganpat Gaikwad has been consistently targeting Shrikant Shinde, often vacillating on his statements regarding alliances.
