The body was sent to the district headquarters hospital in Jajpur for autopsy.Tailor held for extorting money from employer in ThaneA 41-year-old Surat-based tailor, Vishal Rathod, was arrested by the Shrinagar police in Thane for blackmailing his employer and extorting money from her. The victim filed a complaint stating that Rathod threatened to make their compromising photos and videos viral on social media. Over the past two years, Rathod had been demanding money from the victim and her family members, accepting a total of Rs 1.10 lakhs. He also demanded an additional Rs 50,000 to settle the issue. The police laid a trap and arrested Rathod while he was accepting Rs 30,000 from the victim.Thane administration considers separate dam reservation for Kalyan-DombivliIn response to the demand from Kalyan-Dombivli representatives, MLA Vishwanath Bhoir successfully pushed for the reservation of Kushivali dam in Ambernath taluka for KDMC.
