Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the Varanasi officials to start working on planned development in the vicinity of the International Cricket stadium being gifted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the city.It will be a glorious moment for Kashi when the PM will lay foundation of the international cricket stadium, dedicate Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas (residential schools) built in the state and distribute prize among winners of Kashi Sansad Sanskritik Mahotsava here on September 23, said Yogi on Monday evening while reviewing the preparations for the PMs proposed visit at a meeting with the officials at circuit house.Discussing the Rs 450 crore International Cricket stadium project, Yogi directed the officials to explore possibilities for planned development around the proposed stadium by incorporating provisions of hotels and restaurants as well as other commercial activities.Yogi asked the officials to ensure foolproof security and traffic plan for the PMs events to avoid inconvenience for participants and citizens. He asked the officials to ensure that each participant of the KSSM prize distribution was dropped at their places after the event without any traffic chaos anywhere in the city. He further asked the officials to complete all the preparations for the PMs events timely. The officials were also directed to keep focus on proper sanitation.Important among others UP ministers including Anil Rajbhar, Ravindra Jaiswal, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, MLAs Neelakanth Tiwari, Awadhesh Singh, commissioner of police Ashok Mutha Jain, divisional commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma and DM S Rajalingam were present at the meeting. The Prime Minister is scheduled to virtually interact with students from the school and other similar institutions on September 23, as well as lay the foundation for an international cricket stadium in Ganjari.
