Varanasi: Inspired by Indias visionary leadership during the G20 Summit in New Delhi, students of IIT (BHU) Varanasi are planning the 12th edition of their Model United Nations (MUN) conference. The three-day conference will take place on the IIT (BHU) Varanasi campus from September 29 to October 1. It will host discussion on critical global issues, from importance of womens full and effective participation to impact of globalisation and capitalism on healthcare. The MUN secretary general Chavan said the 12th edition of the conference enjoys support from 10 Ambassadors and High Commissioners including H Dillum, High Commissioner of Mauritius to India, and Denis Alipov, the Russian Ambassador to India. Additionally, the conference has garnered patronage from the Youth 20 (Y20) secretariat affiliated with G20 India.
