IIT-BHU’s MUN event to debate global issues

Varanasi: Inspired by Indias visionary leadership during the G20 Summit in New Delhi, students of IIT (BHU) Varanasi are planning the 12th edition of their Model United Nations (MUN) conference. The three-day conference will take place on the IIT (BHU) Varanasi campus from September 29 to October 1. It will host discussion on critical global issues, from importance of womens full and effective participation to impact of globalisation and capitalism on healthcare. The MUN secretary general Chavan said the 12th edition of the conference enjoys support from 10 Ambassadors and High Commissioners including H Dillum, High Commissioner of Mauritius to India, and Denis Alipov, the Russian Ambassador to India. Additionally, the conference has garnered patronage from the Youth 20 (Y20) secretariat affiliated with G20 India. Encouraged twice by PM Narendra Modi, IIT (BHU)s MUN conference has hosted over delegates from more than 20 countries over past 11 years.The opening ceremonywill be graced by Yogesh Chabria, founder of Happionaire Way, a bestselling author, and a keynote TEDx speaker and Anil Trigunayat, former Indian Ambassador to Jordan, Libya, and Malta will attend the closing ceremony. tnnWe also published the following articles recentlyCoffee conference from todayThe World Coffee Conference, organized by the International Coffee Organization and the Coffee Board of India, is set to take place in Bengaluru. The conference brought together experts and enthusiasts to discuss various aspects of gender, sexuality, and societal constructs. Eminent speakers from prestigious institutions like Banaras Hindu University and Pondicherry Central University delivered key talks. Another symposium on the theme "Cells of Love in Diverse India" was held by the Saint Mother Teresa Forum, emphasizing the spiritual essence of love in a landscape dominated by hate.
