Court to hear Shringar Gauri plea tomorrow

Varanasi: The court of district judge will hear, on Thursday, the suit filed by head priest of Acharya Ved Vyas Peeth temple Shailendra Kumar Pathak Vyas to seek worship of Shringar Gauri, other visible and invisible deities in cellar of Gyanvapi mosque and appoint district magistrate or any other suitable persons as receiver of the cellar in southern side of building.Special government counsel for Gyanvapi cases Rajesh Mishra said since district judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha is on leave, the file of the suit filed by Vyas was produced before action district judge (ADJ-I) Sanjiv Kumar Sinha on Tuesday. The court fixed November 2 as next date for hearing, he added.Vyass advocate Vishnu Jain said an application to expedite hearing on this suit had been submitted before the court. On September 25, Vyas had filed this suit before the court of civil judge senior division while an application was also moved before the district judge court to get this suit transferred to his court. District judge had allowed transfer of this suit to his court on October 16.
