Massive protest at IIT-BHU after student alleges molestation

Varanasi: Massive protests broke out on the Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) campus on Thursday after a student alleged that she was molested on the campus by three unidentified men on Wednesday night when she was taking a stroll inside the premises.Boycotting their classes, around 2,000 students started sit-in at Rajputana hostel crossing and later near IIT-BHU directors office demanding arrest of the accused, upgradation of security on the campus and resignation of the director.
