NBW issued against Congress’s Surjewala

Varanasi: The court of the special judge (MP-MLA) Avanish Gautam on Tuesday issued non-bailable warrant against national spokesperson of Congress Randeep Surjewala, ordering him to be produced before the court on November 21. The court also wrote a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner, directing him to ensure his appearance in the court on the prescribed date.The additional district government counsel (criminal), Vinay Kumar Singh said that Surjewala did not appear before the court despite the repeated NBWs issued in the past.This time, the court has directed the Delhi police to produce him before the court on November 21, said the ADGC (crime). The court on August 10 had rejected the application of Surjewala, seeking summoning of original documents and records in relation to Crime No. 391 of 2000.
