Trinidad & Tobago high commissioner attends programme in Kashi

Varanasi: Roger Gopaul, high commissioner of Trinidad & Tobago, who was on a visit to Varanasi, attended an ancestral heritage and family reunion programme organized by Vishal Bharat Sansthan at Subhash Bhawan in Lamhi village on Wednesday. He performed aarti at the temple of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and met tribal children living in Subhash Bhawan.He expressed happiness after meeting 40 members living there as a family. He also saw the Anaz bank run by the organisation. Rajeev Srivastava, president of Vishal Bharat Sansthan (VBS), honored the high commissioner by presenting Ramnami dupatta and tricolor badge.Gopaul saidThe culture of Trinidad is like Indian culture.
