Varanasi: Snack vendor Chhotelal was murdered brutally in a minor dispute in Bansdih area of Ballia district on Saturday. Circle officer Bansdih S N Vaish said that on the complaint of Chhotelals wife Mira Devi of Rampurkala village, FIR was lodged and the accused was arrested. The body had been sent for postmortem examination and further investigation is in progress in this case, he added.Mira said in her complaint to police that her husband used to sell snacks near a country liquor shop in Bansdih.After buying a bottle, the accused reached Chhotelals shop and started quarrelling with him and suddenly attacked him with a brick.
