Varanasi: Cricket fever gripped the city on Sunday as team India faced Australia in the ICC World Cup final.The city roads, except those leading to ghats along river Ganga, wore a deserted look since the beginning of the match in the afternoon while several groups remained busy performing various rituals seeking blessings of deities for Indias victory since Saturday.In the parks of residential colonies and apartments, giant screens were installed for live screening of the match.
