BJP gears up to ensure third term for PM Modi

Varanasi: Ahead of the launch of Bharatiya Janata Partys Voter Chetna Abhiyan (awareness drive) in the state from November 25, the partys state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Saini called upon the cadres to further strengthen BJP at each polling booth to ensure a third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Addressing a joint meeting of BJPs Kashi and Gorakhpur regional units to review the preparations for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections at a school campus in Azamgarh district on Tuesday, he said that the district wise progress had been reviewed before the launch of a special drive from November 25 to December 3.Assigning tasks to complete all preparations for the proposed special drive by holding meetings at district, assembly area and Shakti Kendra units by November 24, he said, On November 26, party workers would listen to PMs Mann ki Baat on November 26 at each polling booth. Afterwards they will go through the voter lists displayed at those booths before starting a door to door campaign. For the success of the mission of ensuring a third term of PM Modi, he said, each and every public representative, office bearer and worker should contribute by considering it as their own responsibility. Everyone should work as resident worker at each Shakti Kendra. Sharing past experiences, he said that errors in voter lists had come to light during the last assembly polls. We will have to be alert and work to ensure that such errors are not there again, he added.In their address, state vice president and in-charge for the drive, Manvendra Singh, Kashi region unit president Dilip Singh Patel and Gorakhpur region unit chief Sahjanand Rai discussed the progress made in the drive so far and said that workers in each district were active with full dedication.
