Camps held to identify those not covered under welfare schemes

Varanasi: District magistrate (DM ) S Rajalingam presided over the programme held to mark the inauguration of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra at the memorial site of Munshi Premchand in Lamahi village on Thursday. During the programme, various department including social welfare, food and logistics, district urban development agency, health and others organised their camps to verify the beneficiaries of their respective schemes, and to identify the left out beneficiaries and getting them registered. The DM gave certificates to the winning children of the quiz competition and also distributed certificates to the skilled children on the occasion. He also distributed approval certificates to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and loan approval certificates of PM Swanidhi Yojana. Another Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organised at Chittaranjan Park in Dashashwamedh Ward on Thursday. The benefits of 17 schemes were extended to the people at the camp. Chug conveyed this information during a meeting with state BJP leaders, highlighting the significant role VBSY plays in advancing the principles of inclusive development and citizen engagement.Free sexual wellness screening camp to be held in ChennaiThe Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) Chennai is organizing a free sexual wellness screening camp for men on November 26 at its hospital premises in Nungambakkam. The comprehensive screening, led by Dr Sanjay Prakash J, includes lab tests for total testosterone, random blood sugar, and lipid profile, as well as an endothelial scan and an andrology consultation. These tests and consultations, valued at Rs 6,000, are being offered free of charge.
