Mortal remains of Sunil Oza consigned to flames

Varanasi: The mortal remains of BJPs state co in-charge for Bihar Sunil Oza were consigned to flames on the banks of river Ganga at Gadauli Dham in Mirzapur district on Thursday. Several senior leaders, including BJPs UP state chief Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Biharstate chief Samrat Chaudhaary, BJP national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, union minister Anupriya Patel and UP minister Ravindra Jaiswal offered floral tributes to the departed soul, before his sons Viral Bhai Oza and Ritwik Oza lit the funeral pyre.Due to illness, Oza died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Gurgaon on November 29. His mortal remains were brought to Varanasi, where it was kept for the party workers to pay their last respect to him.As a representative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP minister Ravindra Jaiswal paid homage to the departed soul. The mortal remains, kept in a truck decorated with garlands and flowers, left for Gadauli Dham in Mirzapur. A convoy of over a hundred vehicles followed the truck.
