Kashi Leads Celebrations As Supporters Dance To Drumbeats & Burst Crackers

Varanasi/Prayagraj/Kanpur: It was Diwali once again for the Bharatiya Janata Party workers who began bursting crackers amid drum beats and sweet distributions in various centres of Uttar Pradesh as early trends showed massive BJP victory in three states on Sunday.Prime Minister Narendra Modis constituency led the celebrations. A grand celebration took place at the partys Gulab Bagh office where scores of workers not only looked dancing to the beats of Dhol-Nagada but also distributed sweets and burst crackers.State minister Ravindra Jaiswal said that the people in these states have accepted the development model of the PM and the welfare schemes he launched for the people of the country.He said that everyone was seeing these elections as the semifinal to the 2024 LS polls and their results have made it clear that people have faith in the leadership of PM Modi.In Prayagraj, jubilant celebrations erupted at the district party headquarters. Women workers at the office enthusiastically chanted slogans in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing confidence in a resounding victory for the BJP and the formation of the governments in three states.In Kanpur, mayor Pramila Pandey organized a grand victory celebration on the Kanpur Municipal Corporation premises. The mayor not only played the drum but also danced to celebrate the victory and distributed sweets among revellers.Kanpur BJP MP Satyadev Pachauri expressed happiness over BJPs landslide victory in the three states and credited PM Modi for the feat. This time, BJPs slogan for the LS polls would be 400 paar, Pachauri said.Kanpur BJP MLA Surendra Maithani, too, celebrated the partys victory by distributing sweets among party workers and supporters.In Lucknow, party workers began to gather at the partys state headquarters since morning. Amid rolling of drums, the party workers cheered, burst crackers and distributed sweets at the state party office in the presence of almost all senior leaders including state general secretaries Govind Narayan Shukla, Anup Gupta, Ram Pratap Singh and Subhash Yaduvansh.
