Varanasi: Hearing on the plea of advocate Vijay Shankar Rastogi demanding to make him a party in a civil suit filed by head priest of Acharya Ved Vyas Peeth temple Shailendra Kumar Pathak Vyas to seek appointment of receiver of the cellar (tahkhana) in the southern side of Gyanvapi structure, completed in the court of district judge on Monday.The court has reserved its ruling and fixed December 8 as the date of delivering its direction. The special government counsel for Gyanvapi cases Rajesh Mishra said that the hearing in this case has been completed.The initial argument by Rastogi in support of his demand had taken place before the court on November 30. Vyas had filed his suit in September and hearing on it started at the court of district judge and after the completion of arguments of plaintiff and defendant Anjuman Intejamia Masajid (Gyanvapi mosque management committee) it had reserved its order on November 8.The same day Rastogi filed his plea to become a party in this suit.
