The exciting news is that Porsche has hinted at launching it for potential customers later this year. What is the Cayman GT4 Clubsport? Take a Cayman GT4, strip it off all the weight, add FIA-approved safety gear including a roll-cage and 6-point harness, give it a new suspension, brakes and racing tyres, and an unrestricted version of the 3.8-litre, flat-six engine developing 385PS/420Nm - and you have the Clubsport. There’s no manual gearbox available here, but the 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission is better suited to racing applications.
