1. Don’t try to spill out everything you know
Most of the times, students try to spill out everything they know in one answer, students should absolutely avoid this. Doing so, the examiner doesn’t pay heed to the lengthy answers and marks the answer in general terms. Therefore, stick to the point.
2. Use an understandable language
Many times, students are under the impression that writing a very fancy language would fetch them good marks. But in reality, it is just the opposite. It is always advisable to write simple language that is easily understandable.
3. Don’t use short forms
Texting has spoiled the language of people to a great extent. Writing shorthand has become a habit, making you lose marks in exams. Thus, make sure that you don’t use abbreviations in your answers.
4. Use active voice for your answers
This is going to help you in Chemistry and physics where you have to pen down long practical and experiments. Use active voice for instance, instead of writing ‘ I used Chemical X to finish my experiment’ you can write ‘Chemical X was used to conclude the experiment’.
5. Instead of using long sentences shorten them
Most of us have the habit, to write longer sentences in curse o be more explainable in our answers. For writing answers, make sure that use smaller sentences. For instance, ‘He couldn’t get hold of the money required’ instead it could be rephrased as ‘he couldn’t arrange the money required’.
6. Do not try to write vague answers
Students are under the impression that writing something random or related to the subject will help to score something. Well, writing vague answers often end up making the examiner irritated. So, ensure you, don’t write anything and everything.
