Hyundai sold 98% of units this July compared to last year

The cumulative sales (domestic + exports) stood at 41,300 units with 3,100 cars sold in the export market.  

India`s second-largest carmaker Hyundai Motor India on Saturday posted a marginal 2 percent decline in domestic sales at 38, 200 units in the month of July showing signs of recovery.

The company said it has recovered 98 percent of the July 2019 domestic sales volume when it sold 39,010 units.

The cumulative sales (domestic + exports) stood at 41,300 units with 3,100 cars sold in the export market.

Commenting on the July sales performance, Tarun Garg, Director ( Marketing, Sales and Service) at Hyundai Motor India said, "With 38,200 units, July`20 domestic sales volume is 98% of July`19 domestic sales volume. This performance was driven by good customer demand for our most admired brand: the all new Creta SUV, Venue, spirited new Verna, elite i20 and Nios."
