Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The haj committee of India has opened the online window for registration for the annual haj pilgrimage starting Monday.Application forms can be filled out and submitted online through the official website, http://haicommittee.gov.in, or through the Haj Suvidha mobile app until December 20.Applicants are advised to read the guidelines and undertaking carefully before filling out haj application forms.A machine-readable valid Indian international passport issued before the closing date of application and valid up to January 31, 2025, is a must, a public announcement by the Haj Committee of India reads.Meanwhile, the Federation of Haj Pilgrims Social Workers of Maharashtra has reiterated the demand for an early announcement of the Haj 2024 schedule in order to ensure proper preparations.Haj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca from Saudi Arabia that all able Muslims are expected to complete at least once in their lives.
