News of relief for 1400 families settled in Faridabad border, CM Manohar Lal made a big announcement

In the midst of the day-long tension situation in the illegally settled Khori settlement in the Aravalli area, the news of relief for 1400 families settled in the Faridabad border of Khori came that the government would rehabilitate them by giving them a flat in a society built in Dabua Colony. After such a message from the Chief Minister, the district administration has now started taking further action.

A statement has come from Chief Minister Manohar Lal that 3400 people of Khori i.e. about 1400 families have come out in the administrative survey, which are related to Haryana. Rest of the people are from Delhi and voters of Delhi itself.

Such people of Haryana will be given flats in Dabua Colony and there will also be talk of getting loans from banks for them, so that they can take flats on installments. After the announcement of the rehabilitation of the people settled in the Faridabad Municipal Corporation limits, the officials of the Municipal Corporation have now started further preparations.

Municipal Commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal said that the process of rehabilitation scheme would be carried forward according to the instructions coming from the state government. On the action of demolition of illegal construction, he said that the whole matter is being reviewed and action will be taken as its report is to be presented in the Supreme Court in six weeks.

On June 7, the Supreme Court had ordered action against illegal construction in Aravalli area Khori Basti and also asked the Municipal Corporation to submit a report in six weeks. The Municipal Corporation and the police administration had made announcement regarding action here. Notices were also pasted. After this many people had vacated their houses, but did not give up possession of the houses.

A meeting was organized for them in Ambedkar Park, but due to the imposition of Section 144, the administration was not allowing them to do so. In the street of Purani Khori, Ambedkar Park, representatives of trade unions and students belonging to Left organizations of Delhi University also joined at around 11 am among the people gathered in the street of Ambedkar Park.

In such a situation, the atmosphere got heated and slogans against the administration started. When people did not agree even after persuasion of the police, there was also a mild lathi charge. The situation remained tense from morning till evening. Apart from the entrance of Purani Khori from Surajkund Road, police were also deployed in the Lal Kuan area of ??the capital Delhi.
